I looked at championship games. The numbers you're talking about are tilted by Brady though. Outside of Brady there are only 2 elite qbs who have been there more than twice. Out of 40 spots (4 qbs in 10 years) that's just 7 taken by elite qbs not named Brady (and Brady is an exception in the entire history of the NFL, not just the last 10 years).

There are more top qbs who did it only once in the last 10 years. And then there are the ones who never got to the championship game in the last 10 years.

I suspect there are more top 10 defenses in those 40 spots than elite qbs.
