There are always head coaches calling out quarterbacks. It happens. With Brady? He's a 20 year vet. He knows the drill. Does it happen with a younger, less experienced QB? Sure it does. But there is a build up the confidence period afterwards. Has it happened without that? It happened with the Rams before with Martz and Warner. 6 sacks, 1 interception, 3 fumbles lost and an opening day loss to the Giants, who won a whopping total of 4 games in 2003. Benched and then released. Similar situation. Genius head coach, finally having had enough, throwing up his hands and making a change. And the guy never amounted to anything ever again, right?
