yup. i understand that. however, different people can (and often do) have different views of the same events (ive had several friends who have got divorced over the years and on every single time the mans story is a bit different then the woman's story. Which is more accurate?). Thus the article may represent thirrys perspective based on her sources but its not the only valid view. If mcvay ever discussed it (and he probably wont) I suspect he would have a bit of a different take.
No disagreement here. I don't take her article as gospel. It's just one data point.
I get Thiry denial too cause it doesn't fit a narrative.
She talked to players, coaches, front office people, and ex-coaches. Most of the article is quotations and reported testimony. More than two dozen sources. All she does is repeat and contextualize what they say. She is the only person who did that. Other articles on the qb/coach issues in 2020 either just echoed the player perspective or echoed the coach's perspective, or just editorialized without any basis in info.
And the Thiry article does not take a side. Both Goff and McVay get their share of criticism.
No one, not a soul, has come forth anywhere--in twitter, in the press, as an "unnamed source" whispering to a reporter, or in any other form, and denied, refuted, or dismissed a single word of it.
Nothing in the article contradicts any other account. It's just more wide-ranging than any other account, and unlike most accounts, doesn't restrict itself to a side (eg. Rodrigue tended to do the management view, Silver gave us a lot of the Goff camp's view).
