Such a turn for McVay to not be overly positive about a player. I wonder if his motivation is to light a fire under Goff or he’s just frustrated with him and is having a hard time with his coach speak.
It's funny that you say "listen" when we did not hear the same things.
Anyway McVay being bad at talking about the qb situation is not worth trying to rescue. You don't alienate your starters with the presumed goal of lighting fires under them. Only some fans believe that public passive aggressive abuse improves a player.
And as I said already what the heck is McVay "frustrated" about. They addressed the massive turnovers in 2 games issue and it stopped. 3 INTs in 6 games including none in the playoffs.
Unlike McVay last Saturday I was mad at some of the typical bad stretches of dumb McVay playcalls. Maybe he should address that.
