Good thoughts here by Orlovsky. When you're not a QB that makes positive plays out of structure, then you cant make negative plays. Thats been the problem with Goff this year.
He has made too many turnovers, and it's exacerbated by the fact that he's not a QB that makes positive plays out of structure. So you just cant compare his turnover count to other QBs who can make those out of structure positive plays. You can only compare his turnovers to QBs like Matt Ryan, Brady, and Brees. Not guys like Mahomes, Allen, or Rodgers who can truly extend plays with their legs.
