now look I know you know better than that
I heard Orlosky say that but you know better than that ... you just do
Yet you try and use it here to support your point.
The Rams did not get away from their outside zone run scheme this year... they did begin to mix it up down the stretch for sure but they did not abandon as Orlosky says and you know they didn't zn smh
Speed they do not have the same run game they used to and I don't care about the scheme part of it--they did lose their edge running and it took away the play action and reduced things. We know that. That's just obvious. It happened because of Gurley's knee and then Akers being a rookie and getting dinged.
Meanwhile this is true and it will remain true. After the crisis with 2 especially bad games with Goff turnovers, that stuff stopped. Instead of pressing and trying to make plays when things broke down Goff started taking sacks, bailing, throwing the ball away, etc.
3 INTs in 6 games. Across 16 games with those numbers he would be 4th in the league in INT percentage. How come no one notices that. They don't even notice it enough to try make up some lame dismissal.
IMO, just IMO but definitely a strong IMO--a lot of Goff talk is emotion and not analysis and tries to be categorical or absolute in ways the actual facts do not support.
Yes play action disappeared. Yes they addressed the turnovers and they stopped. Yes the qb we saw on Saturday is a winning franchise qb.
