When Big Whit retires, we all can speculate the several possibilities of what might happen.
When Whit says goodbye, the Rams might draft, trade or sign a free agent replacement.
They might gamble that his replacement is already on the 2021 roster.
Who the heck knows?
When Whit finally cashes in his chips, the Rams will be in a pickle trying to replace his talent, leadership and value.
This is not likely to be accomplished.
As most of us already know, his LT position is one of the hardest positions to replace in the NFL.
What the Rams do when he retires will be scrutinized until we witness how well his replacement performs.
I'm going to enjoy his 2021 season and hope the Rams get it right when he's gone.
