I think the Rams could reasonably move up from the late 1st round to the late 40s overall. Trading the 3rd round comp. pick they get for Holmes plus a 5th could do that. To get higher than that is a steeper price- trading both 3rds could get them up into the first 5-6 picks of the 2nd round. Tough call. I think they'd resist giving up too much to move up given how much they covet picks in the 50-150 overall range. I think they'd prefer a smaller move up.
They have a lot of homework to do for next spring, that's for sure.
The counter argument, though, is that those picks are not as valuable or useful if you don't have a settled starter at LOT. Which is why I mentioned that they could also package in 2023 picks in a trade.
I agree that they have a lot of work to do. Lots of things could happen though some aren't that common (free agent, trade for a player). Maybe this is the year NB develops.
From this vantage point where we are right now, things are a bit murky.
