I hear ya, zn. But the RAMS are very resourceful..
The Rams are not the only team in history that has good player acquisition policies and methods.
They're not the only team that has scored in free agency.
They're good but not the only team that has ever been good. They're not this cartoon day-glo fairytale exception to reality they're just one of the many teams that have been good at personnel business (like the Vermeil Rams were).
No team can create players out of nothing. If it is historically true that you cannot
count on either lower draft picks to blossom at LOT or you cannot
count on good LOTs being available in free agency, then it does not matter how fantastically exceptional you think they are.
...
Two things.
First, ALL teams eventually must replace their LOT’s. IOW, this is not a unique problem and frankly, Rams deal with personnel problems better than most teams.
Second, there are at least 4 methods to acquire a LOT for ‘22, assuming that the Rams don’t extend their own Boom. Snead/McVay will simply utilize the most favorable method and move on. Again, I refuse to worry about this regime’s ability to restock their roster after watching them do such a superb job of it for 5 consecutive offseasons.
