You state in support of your position that Donald is affordable that, “ Besides the Rams believe they can sign him. It;'s either that or they're jerking him around in ways we should be ashamed of”
That last statement is supposition at best. It is just as likely if not more likely that Donald and his Agent are the reason there has been no extension. Reports indicate that Donald’s agent Francis is hard to deal with. Specifically that he plays hard ball in negotiations, sometimes walking from getting early contracts for an ultimate bigger score. I have no doubt that the Rams have budgeted for Donald. I have no doubt they can sign him and 7 or so other core players. The question remains though how much are they willing to pay him. You seem to imply in your posts that they should pay him whatever he wants because he deserves it. You also state in other posts that you always side with the player. That certainly explains the supposition. On the other hand I am a Ram fan first, so I would generally support the team. I didn’t want them to pay what Watkins got on a contract. I would much rather have a team full of good to very good players than one with a few superstars and the rest below average. I know that is overstating it because the devil is in the details. What they can afford depends on what each team has, values and needs. I would like a Brady contract for all of the stars on the team. A very good, very secure long term contract but one not so high that they cant keep or get good quality at other positions.

#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
