If we just drop a DL back into a zone or area in the middle of the field to defend that area and NOT the player, it should be ok. I don't see them asking the DL to cover a TE on a route or anything like that. Just clog up the passing lanes over the middle.

JMO. I am by no means a defensive genius and I don't pretend to play one on the internet but...I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night! beer cheer smiley

Yup, I can see that. But then again, they just have Hoecht do the same thing. Tht actually seems like the best solution to me. Have Hoecht rush some of the time. Or even most of the time. But when he does drop in coverage have him defend a short zone rather than try to stick to a TE.

I think you said it well and we both agree. They key will be "how" they drop into coverage and how often. beer cheer smiley

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
