It will be interesting to see how Shula plays Hoecht compared to how he was used previously. As you said, it's important to play players at their proper position and up until now, he hasn't been.
I think Morris tried to make something that he wasn't...a pass rusher that can cover too.
I am looking forward to "the Shula Effect". I think we all will be happy to finally see better tackling, swarming to the ball and more aggressive play calls and schemes!
I still wish we could have seen AD in more aggressive scheme his last few seasons. That Charmin Shell did nothing to help AD. If anything, that ultra soft zone crap handcuffed AD...and he STILL balled out! lol I can only imagine how good he could have been with an aggressive defense behind him!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
