When I fly I watch my liquid intake so I don't have to use the restroom... which doesn't work because I will go to the restroom on a plane for no other reason than to explore the plane. 
The most amazing ocean site I ever saw on a flight was on a trip to Europe and we were off the coast of Greenland, (southern coast)... and the ice was breaking up. There were a gazillion icebergs below us... and I'm not exaggerating, a gazillion!
On another trip... ( I think my last trip home from England)... and for the first time, I met another face against the window person! She was seated 3 rows ahead of me and I noticed she had her face against the window, just like me, at all times. I took a chance and called out to her, "Greenland is amazing, isn't it?". Well, she not only replied but informed that she had been to Greenland! For the rest of the flight we annoyed the hell out of the people between us because we talked about everything we we're seeing below us as we passed over.
