It's hard to lose your parents (my Dad years ago), but it seems like a harder hit when it's a sib. I can't say for myself, but there is usually a close bond with your "other part" so to speak. I may be off base on this idea, but I hope you find ways to say goodbye without being there...that's gotta be a tough act.
