No, not really. He has continued to scheme guys open in the offense but Goff has not seen them or chose not to go to them. I think that is why the Wolford situation was the final straw. Wolford is obviously less talented but he was seeing and taking the positive plays the way the McVay apparently wants.
I've also watched a variety of All-22 film reviews by a variety of people who all point to Goff struggling to take the positive plays that are there. Over the last 2 1/2 years, I've seen enough to come to the conclusion that it's Goff who is struggling. McVay keep trying to come up with new ways to help him but there's only so much that can be done.
