He has missed so many open guys without pressure. I will NEVER understand the INT vs Seattle. The guy is WAY off of what his contract value is. 2018 was a long time ago.
But this year was different from 2019.
He had 4 bad games in 2020.
The rest are anywhere from decent to solid to good, including the playoffs.
And that's usually the answer I see when someone says why, in spite of the numbers and evidence, this year seemed SO bad. Uusually they pick a play or 2 that angers or embarasses them and it dominates their thinking to the point where they're not even really talking about Goff's actual season.
He threw the bad INT against Seattle for the same reason Goff always makes bad plays--he was pressing to make something happen when he shouldn't. He should take the sack, go out of bounds, run but slide, throw it away, find a check down...anything but pressing to make something happen.
It's not any different from any other bad play Goff has had since the start of 2017.
You just personally especially didn't like that play.
