McVay called attention to the QB needing to go through progressions after one of the games.
And so you don't watch games where he goes through his progressions?

I do watch games and see him go through progressions some of the time. But you asked where does the idea come from that he's deficient at that.
Watching the games will tell you that he doesn't excel there. Hearing his HC call him out on that also says the same.
