I think some people misunderstand the structure issue. That is, we literally don't know what the hang up is there, if there is one. Some people say that it's Donald looking for an opt-out clause. That has come up. But we don't know. Demoff in the bit where I transcribe him there is just saying it's easier to structure a deal if they don't have a contract in place to deal with. So how do you convert the old contract into the new contract. That may be an issue too. How much does he get each year and how (bonus? guaranteed money? percent that is salary not bonus?) That's a structure issue too. And...we don't know. That too may be on Donald, it may be on the Rams, it may be on both, and it could be that there's no real issue and we're all just being anxious.
