Re: Question, I have surgery in 6 days

I had prostate nerve sparing robotic surgery done in 2021. They also clipped a little of the bladder and inserted a catheter while they stitched it back up. I to was bothered by the thought of it. I should have taken more pain meds than I did for comfort when I was in the hospital. Don't be stubborn about it. The thing I disliked the most was I had to wear a pee bag for a short time after surgery. It's wasn't so bad but a nuisance. Trust your Doctor. He wants the best for you. I slept in a recliner for a week and a half, It worked better for me than flat out in a bed. And I sat higher for getting up and down with the big arms on the recliner. You might look into that before your surgery. Thinking back I tried to take the attitude of lets say a bar fight, And a bully is picking on you or a friend.( Hold my beer I got this ). It takes time to heal so don't be impatient. Keep the faith you got this.
