Speed, explosion, GREAT contact balance. He's a very good "one move and gone" RB. I defended the Henderson pick when it happened though it was with the understanding he was a complementary back. People debated his size at one point but that's not relevant--he's lowbuilt and tough so his size is just not an issue. It might be for a skinnier back who doesn't have Henderson's build. The fact that you're even asking this question makes me wonder if you're taking things wrong (I suspect you are). Henderson is not Aker's equal in talent, which for some reason appears to come across as "Henderson's no good." (???)

In terms of ypc, you are being misled by numbers instead of looking at the player. Henderson is less adept at Akers at making something happen in traffic---elusiveness. There's a reason Akers was highly productive in college behind one of the (if not THE) worst OLs in college football. People say, it's the scheme and blocking. For the most part, true. But for Akers it's also more than that. He has a knack for producing even when it looks like nothing's there. So with Akers you have a good running game based on scheme and blocking PLUS more than that. That's just simply not as true with Henderson.

There are 7 games in 2020 where DH did not produce for various reasons, so as of right now he doesn't have the pedigree of a primary back because he's not quite consistent enough.

Now maybe he can improve on that. I don't rule it out.
