I agree that losing Akers makes this offense into something less. I was adding based on some things you said last year to indicate that all hope is not lost.

Success Rate postIn those posts, you were basically pointing to the FO Success Rate metric to measure how well a RB keeps the chains moving.
Here is how Akers and Hendo ended the season in that metric per Football Outsiders:
Akers: Success Rate: ranked 34th at 48%;
Henderson: Success Rate: ranked 11th at 55% (above Kamara BTW.)
Hendo was also top 10 in DVOA and DYAR.
Since you are knowledgeable about the Success Rate metric can we agree that, by objective standards, Hendo was more successful moving the chains last year than Akers? Henderson wasn't only about explosive plays as states a common but misguided narrative.
I do agree that they should go find another power option but that's necessary IMO for durability reasons not because Henderson hasn't been effective. Fact is, eyeball tests aside, every metric out there for RBs indicates Henderson's effectiveness is every bit what Akers' is.
