You are on record comparing Stafford's first 5 seasons vs Goff's.
That is your first over zealous reaction. Just my opinion just like you share yours with several posters on several subjects.
Comparing the organization Stafford played for vs the the talent level on Offense, Defense, Running game and Special teams the Rams provided Goff is not black and white.
At least not the way view it.
You have your opinion and more power to you.
In my opinion, if Stafford in is his 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th seasons was under the care of McVay and the Rams that Goff was given, Stafford would've been much more successful.
In my opinion their overall talent level at any age of their careers is almost as comparable to Alex Smith vs Patrick Mahomes.
Stafford is in a different league. For me it's not even close.
Maybe I'm wrong but I'm on the Stafford train and it's not just about his experience over Goff.
Again, I believe Stafford would've had a much better earlier career under McVay with in his 2nd to 5th seasons vs Goff's 2nd to 5th seasons on the Rams.
Stafford is different level of talent no matter how you compare their first 5 years in 2 different organizations.
