Ok, fair enough. It seems like you're using your instincts and that's ok. I was just wondering if you had something a little more concrete like a report or article that I missed.
McVay did say there were communication issues. I took that at face value that there were issues but we don't know what that entails. It doesn't necessarily mean that McVay didn't listen to Goff or dictated to him.
All of the things you list - Goff being blindsided about the QB position, communication issues, the Rams interpretation of the "disconnect", McVay's open disdain, etc. (some of these are speculative anyway) - could possibly all be true but don't necessarily mean that McVay didn't listen to Goff or dictated to him. Most of the things you mention happened at the end of 2020 when the relationship had already broken down. Who is to say that from 2017 to some time earlier in 2020, McVay didn't listen to Goff a lot? Who is to say that prior to the relational breakdown McVay didn't dictate to Goff?
It's really not that big a deal and we can disagree on whether the above issues exist and what they mean if they do, I was just wondering where you're getting your conclusions relating to Goff.
(BTW, my questions on this have nothing to do with Stafford...)
