Here's another rosy story about Stafford.
Several things I noticed that I find strange. First, McVay, who has this reputation of being an offensive genius is going to incorporate the Lions' offense from the last decade? What about his own offense that took the league by storm in 2018 and for us into the Super Bowl? Three years later we are scrapping that system? We traded away that QB, cut the offensive player of the year RB, traded the fastest WR. We replaced them all and away we go? Also, there is no such thing as a Seamless transition to a new team unless they run the same offense or take the whole O that the new QB ran before. This all worries me. More than a little. The overconfidence in Stafford is scary. Predicting that we will return to the SB in our first season with him at the trigger is scarier. This isn't Brady who tells the head coach how he's going to win for him. Stafford has spent his whole career losing most games especially the big ones. And didn't the Bucs improve? Won't Brady be back? Don't the Niners completely own us and won't they be back healthy? Didn't the Seahawks actually win our division last season and is t Russell Wilson still playing for them? Didn't the Cowboys add like an entire defense to go along with their powerful offense. Didn't the Packers run all over us in the playoffs last season? I mean, yikes!
