Warner was playing through injuries but ultimately lost his job and was jettisoned by the Rams after a total of 7 games. He didn't "refuse" to go into a game he just talked Martz into not treating Bulger the way that Warner was treated. And he was right, by the way. Bulger rebounded. Warner said that a starter needs to be the starter and not be yanked in and out of the lineup just bby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

As bad of a year as Gurley's had, he's still averaging 4.1 ypc. Not MVP level like before but not cause for abandoning the run. Reminds me of the argument I got into regarding the pass-pro. While conceding that the o-line in general doesn't seem to be doing as well as it has in the past, it can't be as horrible as some are suggesting if Goff still has enough time to lead the league in passing yards. Not exactly sure what to make of the sack % numbers. They have to be misleading in some way, or at least need to be examined in context. For example, from 2017 - 2019 the Rams have gone from 5.0 to 5.6 to 3.7 this year. Anything under 4.0 is usually good for top 5 in the league so for the Rams to be at 3.7, on it's own, is pretty good. QuoteL.A.Rams Goff has demonstrated top-five ability. From watching games on TV, it is impossible to know all the facts, but I suspect that any regression Goff has shown this season can be attributed to shaky play by the OL and bad play calling by McVay. There is a difference between overrated and irrelevant. I agree, completion percentage by itself isn't an indicator of success or failure. But, as PART of what I said I think it's perfectly valid.
