just unreal the denial lol
Do you really think they’re going to bench Goff after they just committed to him? Seriously?
Talk about denial lol
Only reason they would is to save him from getting Bulgerized behind this oline... anything other than that is just nonsense
No one ever said the Rams would actually do it, just that it's food for thought. Goff is, and has been for a year, statistically one of the worst QB's in the league. Bortles isn't a savior and is JAG as a starter but the fact that it's even worth considering should illustrate how badly Goff has been playing.
The league caught up to him overnight and he hasn't been able to adjust. But the reality is, the Rams are trapped into playing Goff at this point. Between all the draft picks and the huge contract, they literally have no choice.
You’re missing the bigger picture and it is in plain sight..... the o-line has been one of the worst Lines in the NFL if not the worst...the league didn’t catch up, the oline fell apart
Not a good recipe for a pocket QB
McVay didn’t forget how to coach and Goff didn’t forget how to play QB the line simply crumbled .
I'm not missing it, I just don't agree with it. The line didn't crumble after the bye last year and even though it hasn't been great this year, it doesn't excuse Goff's bad performances. Not all QB's suffer so greatly when going through a line transition.
I know the narrative that some are trying to use is that the o-line is so bad that no QB could have success and that Goff's problems are all their faults. But I don't agree. If Goff can't handle pressure better than this, then he deserves criticism.
