I wouldn't consider either of those guys to be "rising stars." Most of what we've seen from them is being burned in the pattern. :ROTFby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
So much garbage out there churning out content nowadays. Frankly it's disgusting. First off with RBs you simply never know when they're gonna get injured. It's gonna happen. Now some guys tend to get dinged up quicker than others, but this is why the NFL has trended to running back by committee approaches. It's also why teams don't pay RBs big money. I mean look what happened when the Ramby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRockRam How do you let a guy like Evans go who has lots of starts at both Right side positions, and keep a guy like Brewer who has never started an NFL game and hasn't impressed? No one including the Rams have any idea how Brewer would do when the games matter. Rams would have no problem getting Brewer to the PS. Yeah Brewer is gone. There's just no room for him this year. Missing ten days of camp had to be brutal for him. So now they have to use preseason snaps to give him as much exposure as possible. I think it's a good plan and tbh preseason snaps are > practice and scrimmage snaps anyway. Since the Rams sit all their starters that means they have an opportunity to tune him up. All that aside I don't think he's a year one impact type. Barring major inby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com

Yeah and it resulted in a turnover. But in terms of a basic evaluation of Perkins we know the guy doesn't have a Stafford arm if he did he wouldn't be fighting to win a QB3 spot. So his biggest problem is his ability to quickly get through reads which is common for QBs low on the depth chart, low in experience, etc. As to him being able to nail an occasional deep shot when it's there, put thby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that he still gets tied up in his reads. It's not consistently smooth. And it's why the offense will look stop and start and his play is so streaky. It is similar to what we were seeing with Goff tbh. You can't get hung up on the wrong guys and run a highly efficient offense. Also he's still raw in certain ways. QuoteHornsUpRamily! Tomorrow's Raiders game may have some bearing on the LA Rams RB roster. This article suggests that if the rushing offense lays another egg, that may prompt the team to look for and claim a bigger rusher off the waiver wire. So I would guess that is why you haven't heard that kind of talk. Last season passing game explosives were hard to come by vs this defense. This year, at least so far in scrimmages and camp, they've been beaten deep quite a bit. If that extends into the season our defense will suffer a big fall in the rankings. The thing with Harris is he's not just a great athlete. He's got a good feel for setting guys up in his routes. And he has the body control of a natural receiver. He tracks the ball well and his hands are up and out/splayed to bring it in. He can twist and move and react to the ball at full stride which, for a guy his size, you normally only see on rare occasions those being the big wideoutsby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe I'm masochistic idk. But I don't have a problem with the starters sitting. I get it. Now it sort of annoys me to see key backups sit, but if they're important then it sort of makes sense I guess. Either way I do enjoy watching depth players duke it out. There were plenty of whispers and rumors that he was a locker room problem back in his draft year, type of guy who questions coaches and thinks he knows better. Fast forward to now and it seems like those things are true, because he did have and does have some talent to him. Thing is at this level you gotta be dedicated as a signal caller. You gotta have a deep knowledge of the offense and aby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that by sustaining drives you get more snaps. By getting more snaps potential for more runs and looks at the run game. So if you get too predictable and don't move the chains you can potentially have fewer snaps to get looks at the run game. Now if the game starts and the Raiders can't stop the run? Not sure if he'll make it in the competitive world of backup QBs but I think he's got a chance. What I like is he has really good instincts of when to run and he's got a nice calmness to him in his drops. I think he's marginal in his speed of processing. But watching him the other night there was no panic when things broke down, and that side of things compensates quite well. I'm lookingby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no idea if the guy can secure the ball well enough, first off. So that's a big concern. But if they can work with him on that stuff and get him comfortable enough to execute the basics... He represents a huge opportunity to flip fields through special teams. His instincts and movement in space are rare. It's really something. Without a doubt IMO. Because Stafford will put the ball up for the big guys. He throws a lot of really tight window balls. Goff just wasn't comfortable putting up jump balls it's not his thing, so all the TEs need to be ready because that ball's coming. :thumbsupby merlin - RamsFootballFans.com

:ROTF Truth here is that none of us know how Allen's going to play at Center this year. Nobody has actually seen him play outside of some padded snaps in camp and a thud practice vs the Cowboys.
