Missing ten days of camp had to be brutal for him. So now they have to use preseason snaps to give him as much exposure as possible. I think it's a good plan and tbh preseason snaps are > practice and scrimmage snaps anyway. Since the Rams sit all their starters that means they have an opportunity to tune him up.
All that aside I don't think he's a year one impact type. Barring major injuries ahead of him on the depth chart he'll be a year two guy and I'm fine with that. For now the biggest thing he can do is get good at returns because that's a big need to get settled in the final week or so.
