Re: Stolen car has been found

We went and saw the stolen/recovered car this morning. I didn't take all the pics of it that I wanted to. Not sure how the two truck driver got the car onto the tow truck with no tires The thieves did, in fact, steel the wheels. We almost didn't see the car amongst all the other wrecked cars in the city towing lot because the axles are sitting smack on the ground. The front bumper is hanging off. The steering column is torn up. The two back windows next to the rear seat are knocked out on both sides. I'm sure that's how they got in to the car. RAMbeau and my son were busy removing a few things from the car once they let us into the lot and when they finished retrieving stuff, we got outa there. My son noticed that they stole his gym membership card. I didn't think to go back and get pictures of the inside of the car so I don't have any. We have no idea what the insurance company will decide.... to fix it or total it. We'll just have to wait and see what they say.

By the way, there were probably a dozen other people in line at the City Tow yard and every single one of them owned a Kia or a Hyndai which had been stolen/recovered and they were there to take pics and sign paperwork like us. We swapped sob stories all morning.
