I do think the ability to efficiently play the system suffers considerably but the one thing that amazed me about Wolf's start was McVay's willingness to call plays that were really no different than he did with Goff at the helm. Certainly 'looked' different because Goff and Wolf are/were very different... but the playbook, I believe, was left intact. Or maybe that's what you meant, that Wolf can't run the system?

Situation comes into play as well... if Wolf should need to come in early in the season I think some adjustment is to be expected.... when he replaced Goff it was more "no choice now, gotta keep the pedal to the metal".
