I really like Jourdan's journalism and enjoy her takes, but I couldn't disagree more. If the Rams kept a Perkins and designated Wolfie to the PS he would get snapped up in a heartbeat. He has experience and really knows this system which is being emulated by many other teams. The Rams former assistant coaches are everywhere as head coaches and would love to have someone so knowledgeable and experienced in this system as Wolfie. Perkins is a terrific athlete. He can escape and run. I like him. I can see him make the squad as he did last season. But, he has never played in a real game. And if he was our sole backup and our main guy couldn't go we have a total question mark at the position. Wolfie can run the whole playbook. He is not Stafford, but few are. I am now explaining the decision. It has already been made.
Wolford is not an NFL qb....he is the 2nd coming of Pat Haden....except Wolford is playing against faster bigger guys and he will get killed out there.
We all know that Perkins is more talented...even McVay can see that.
