If they really do want to 'sneak him onto the practice squad' why play him? Are they hoping he plays poorly so no one is interested? If he plays well, that will just bring attention to his value. The whole backup QB thing seems hard to get a read on.

wasn't impressed with perkins in the 1st preseason game. haven't watched past quarter 1 of game 2 yet but i will watch the whole game with an open mind.

wasn't really impressed with wolford from what i saw in the 1st quarter but i think the announcers said he was playing against the texans starters and he was playing with only back ups, no 1's on our side (as usual for a mcvay preseason). although he did have a nice pass to mccutheon and then trammell.

given the rams recent success, i doubt the rest of the league will allow them to sneak anyone of potential onto the ps. showing them off in preseason games just increases the odds that they're gone.....
