Yeah to me, there's no question people exaggerate the negatives from 2020. And they will militantly pile on posters who say otherwise.
IMO the right circumstances includes a qb coach who is as supportive as he is critical.
I would say having a solid OL is part of the circumstances but that's true of virtually every qb, Stafford included.
Very few people actually lament the trade though because the upshot is, with a disconnect between the qb and coach, they lucked into Stafford being available this year, and to me a 13 year vet who still has a lot of top-end physical talent is not something you argue against. Though there was some who disagree with that--they don't see Stafford in that way. Which is fine, that's just a different view, we are not going to chase them in a group dedicated to militantly reminding them what the conformist view is.
