Excellent take you presented on how we possibly are spoiled by McVay and that we are already taking him for granted. Lots of food for thought there, man.
But, even so, I still fault McVay for allowing his team to not be fully prepared on at least 5 occasions and losing to underdog teams. Just no sugarcoating that, ‘rebuilding’ year or not. McVay never used to get outcoached but that’s no longer true, is it?

Wouldn’t be a stretch to claim that the pre-Diggs Bills shoulda been a Rams win, as well.
Also, there’s no denying that both Rams O and Goff have regressed despite improved OL over the ‘19 version. Such regression does not happen in a vacuum. So, McVay must figure it out this offseason and FIX it. And that should include a good hard look in the mirror.
