I just don’t know.
But I do know this. IF McVay were to take interviews with prospective OC candidates and made it known that they would be traditional OC’s with McVay merely overseeing them, then there would be no shortage of top drawer interested applicants. McVay could simply pick and choose from among the best and brightest whose O philosophy resonated with his own. He could hit another Staley type HR but for his O this time. Think about THAT.
