I think that you’re conflating 2 separate issues here, Roman.

One issue is that there might be an issue with Gurley’s knee that will prevent him from ever quite reaching his former level. It’s okay to acknowledge the possibility and to take steps to prepare for such. Rams have done that.

The other issue seems to be that you feel that some are trying to smother enthusiasm for Ram prospects for success this season. Nothing could be further from the truth. Rams seem loaded for a SB season, healthy Gurley or not.

Two entirely separate issues. Peace.
