let's say, for instance, Gurley's knee is complete toast. Well... there's literally nothing I can do about it. It doesn't help me one bit to worry about it. So, for my personal part which you don't need to follow, fretting about it, posting about it ad infinitum, etc... doesn't seem to be worth the time or mental energy.
There are different ways of relating to those things. So for example, for many, paying attention to Gurley's knee would be a natural and obvious thing to do if you follow the team, and for a lot of people that does not mean fretting, or wasting mental energy, or any of that. Paying attention is not always fretting. And it doesn't change anything or make it different to NOT post about it. That is, there's many different ways to relate to the team, and for you what might be a frustrating waste of mental energy might be for someone else just discussing the Rams on an even keel, without any mental drama to it. So just because we personally take something a certain way doesn't mean the person posting something IS that way. For example if someone thinks Scottish bagpipe music is just noise, that's fine, except them thinking that does not mean that bagpipers are actually deliberately going around with the intention of making random noise.
