I can't imagine Fisher was not involved whatsoever cuz Jenks was one of Fisher's pet CBs that slipped to the 2nd. I think they just valued Tru more and demonstrated it by paying Tru 33m over 2 yrs while letting Jenks walk into a ProBowl the following year with the Giants.
In 2016, Jenks was not retained for whatever reason.
In 2018, Watson was not either...for whatever reason.
I don't think things like that are accidents.
The staff is making their choices/values, etc known by their actions.
I'm just tryin to understand what they are doin and the strategy that drives them. I still can't see it really...or am still learning to see it...
