Yeah it does mention that. So you have an inconsistent qb who can be good--do you handle that by berating him in unconstructive ways in front of the team and turning players against him? I like being proud of the Rams coach and I can't say I am proud of that. He's young. At least he admitted he did not handle it.

But Stafford is a good qb so no complaints there. I've said many times, if you have a winning coach and a qb who are locked in a disconnect, it will be the qb who leaves.

I didn't discuss the issue of getting back to a superbowl with Goff and nothing I said was critical of the trade since (a) like I said Stafford is a good acquisition, and (b) I doubt McV could have fixed things with Goff and gotten the best out of him...too much water under the bridge maybe? Detroit knows all about that situation and we'll see if they handle him better and get more out of him.
