So, to me it seems unreasonable to claim that McVay just ruined Goff (and no other) while simultaneously stringing together 4 consecutive winning seasons and countless player/team/coaching successes. It defies both logic and my sense of fairness toward Goff.
And that’s all I have to say about that.
No one is saying the things you think you;re fighting.
No one, anywhere, has said that McVay "ruined Goff." I defy you to actually accurately summarize what was really said. Part of that being, you seem to want to twist what I say into this caricature version of it.
And yeah all coaches have flaws unless you want to claim that a winning record means you don't have flaws, which is preposterous. Heck even McVay says he has flaws and often he is accurate in naming them (like not communicating with his qb).
I am never a blind follower. I am both a loyal fan and a realist and if a good coach has flaws, I will opine about them. In spite of the fact that that riles up some people who then demand that you stop doing it (no chance).
Vermeil was the best the Rams have had since I started following them back in the 70s, and when it was warranted, I criticized some of his stuff too.
If you can't simply accept the fact that some people see the same things you do and interpret them differently, then odds are, you will end up doing conversation more harm than good.
Just accept that we see this one issue differently.
