Some people take certain stats (and quotes) so seriously as these stand alone metrics without putting them into context or lining them up with actual play.

Goff had several good games under pressure. We know this. Want the list again?

So something is wrong with your stat, OR it's one of those cases where subjective measures of "pressure" vary from stat site to stat site, and someone just picks the one that suits their opinion.

Here's Stafford facing 10 or more pressures in 2020.

10 against GB, qb rating 91
13 against Jax, qb rating 80.3
19 against Ind, qb rating 96.9
11 against Caro, qb rating 70
13 against Hou, qb rating 84.9

Out of 5 of those games, he had a qb rating of 90 or above in 2 of them.

You pressure anyone and their game diminishes, at least a bit. We can call that the lesson of superbowl 55.

Doesn't matter what your selected metric from one site among others says.

Stafford needs a solid OL too. He's not a magic OL remedy.

If things go right the Rams will be working on providing him with one.
