I love it that the Rams are doing what they can to try to win a Super Bowl. Trading for Stafford increased their chances - that's pretty much all I can ask, knowing that there's no way to guarantee the results.

Personally, I would rather see the Rams try to win the Super Bowl and fail than not try at all. And the alternative? To stick with Goff after they've already decided that they can't win the SB with him? Thanks, but no thanks.

It's about increasing their chance of winning a Superbowl. Stafford increases the Rams chances.

That's just the thing..... this should have raised ALL of our expectations not just be ok with oh well they tried.....this move will be a failure if they fail to get further than where Goff already had us...Which was in a Super Bowl just two years ago

I don't think it's where Goff took us to in 2018 but where the "current" Goff would take us. Defenses already adjusted to the 2018 Rams offense so could current Jared succeed in the the current Rams offense ? I think this is where we are now.

understand that, but when watching what happened in GB its clear it wasn't about Goff who actually played well enough to keep that boat race somewhat close.

and also. isn't it up to the coach to make sure you run an offense that was successful with Goff to maintain that offense instead of scrap it??

It's not the "current" Goff, its the "current" offense which ironically wasn't our issue in our most crucial moment of 2020

So when the coach and GM start pointing the finger at the QB as the reason we haven't won the Super Bowl yet, which is fine, but when you do that and give up as much as you did to replace that issue fans and media are going to expect you to at minimum get back to the an NFC Championship ....anything less than that will be considered a failure to many.

don't get me wrong, I love the fact our coach has the cajones to pull off these moves and his desire to win it all, just better be prepare to for the pressure that comes with it, I'm sure he will be and understands the expectations many now have
