Re: Great QB play

So many teams over the years have struggled to not only get great QB play and the results are either the QB or someone or something is to blame. Injuries, OL, deficient talent etc and we have had all and yet with Jared won more games than ever. I have yet to see McVay take a snap in a game or scramble for a first or score a touchdown and certainly never throw a strike for a TD with defenders in his face. Perception is everything I guess but the perception that you are a supertbowl team without your QB has to be 100% correct but statistically no one can prove that we may be a SB team because of what Goff has been able to do wheter it has been consistently or not. This Kid has overcome some poor early down failures and penalties as well as sacks to extend drives. He has some great tape and even some of his bad plays were preceded by great plays that were negated by penalties and drops.

Everyone else gets a pass but Goff but the great thing is now that this deal has been made there will be no Goff to hide behind or rely on. Stafford had no pressure to win and didin't so he will find out about the fickle media and the first time he fumbles, throws an INT or does not calmly get up after being clobbered and throw a strike for a first down. Is he tough of course but he has also 10 + years of tape doing the things that undoubtably Jared has done but not with Jareds success. It will be interesting.
