Rampage2K-
it seems a lot of people think this is a try out year for Goff and that they probably will pass on QB at #7, unless one falls that they just can't pass up....
time will tell, but if Lynn can work his magic on Goff the way he got the rookie to play last year, this could be a huge move by Holmes. The Lions could make some noise in a division that really only has one good team
Agree Rp2K
On the surface it seems like Goff is on a try out year with new his new team especially being less talented than the one he was traded from.
Regardless, I will be following Goff's career until he's no longer in the league.
I won't care as much how he does like I used to because I would've made the trade for Staff after the 2019 season if it was possible.
I made my click bait posts that he was on the seat last year because I believed it with my own eyes. Not because I wanted reactions.
I was sadly disappointed he didn't step up his game like I believed he would. Oh well, I'm no longer emotionally attached to Jared but I will root for him to do well until he's no longer an NFL starting QB.
Stafford is no lock to take the Rams past the divisional round this coming season but I have more faith in him than I did in Goff being the starting qb in 2021.
This is going to be a long offseason and I'm expecting many twists and turns with the first turn extending Stafford to start the free up salary cap dollars domino effect.
