But games do come down to last plays....we won a SB that way. A few weeks ago the Raiders won that way, a few weeks ago Murray won a game that way.....Yes games are won on last drives many, many times, or stopped defensively as well. The D played below average, but again they did keep them out of the end zone several times or those last 2 passes would not have been any consequence to the outcome. So yes they played poorly, but again they did give us that last shot.
Many times games are decided by that very means....We had the last shot and a great one at that....the Offense blew it. Ignore that, twist it, do what ever.....the offense had the last say after a poor 3 hours and 56 minutes of play to make amends....they blew it.
The loses to the whiners were similar, the dolphins the same......the bills game they DID do it, and the D lost it with a questionable call, but lost it. Those 4 games have put us where we are going into Sunday...Looking up, and maybe needing help after that game.
What do you make of a defensive player saying that they feel they need to score more points? I know they love scoring points, but to say they need to says something, a very loud something....I just want Goff to have a much larger role in getting some hard fought wins, that last game was 1, that fins game was 1, and those whiner games as well.....If he is a major factor positively in any of those...it doesn't come down to where we are now.
I want him to succeed, to play up to point, to become a factor instead of a question mark.
