Agreed. It goes against my nature to speak positively about the 49ers but it really is commendable how their coach has kept them as competitive as they've been. I've actually been curious to see what Rosen could do on at least a semi-decent team. Playing for Shanahan will likely be his best and last chance to start in the NFL. It isn't ideal considering all the circumstances but this may be Rosen's last real shot. I think he's destined for a Blaine Gabbert type of existence though. Solid tangibles but likely not the "it" factor that separates starters from journeymen.
