but, with that in mind I just wanna say that AD is the best defender in football. IF the report is true and AD is paid as the best defender(money + guaranteed $) then, that sounds as if it were a fair compromise and negotiated in good faith.
I'm not sure how much more than fair a team should go.
Let the market decide?? Sure, then tag him or give him permission to strike a deal with another team - and the Rams can match it or NOT if they don't want to. No reason to negotiate with yerself when another team might help bring things into focus with a market offer. imo
If he's the best player in football??? Why shouldn't AD should make 30m/yr????...
Let AD's agents negotiate to see what's out there and either match it or trade him.
Let teams/free market can decide if they want to do that.
AD's contract situation seems hard......but not complicated.
I think this might be the perfect solution. Well done Sir. Let him negotiate with other teams to see just what others think he is worth and then the Rams can decide to match or not. That would set the "market value" as you say. The only problem I see with this is that some teams might have more room to pay him more $ than the Rams do.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
