And if Fisher has a problem with that, then he can retire. I don't give a crap. Its time to start sending messages. THat losing will not be tolerated and that the talent on this team is not where it should be.
This is my post responding to ZN about Snead and his hit rate:
They (IMO, you cannot talk about Snead without Fisher) have had what I would call hits on defense, but the offensive side of the ball has been downright brutal.
2012- Brian Quick, I. Pead, Chris Givens, Rok Watkins, Daryl Richardson - IMO that's 0 for 5 hits
2013 - Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Barrett Jones, Zac Stacy - IMO that's 0-4 hits
2014 - Greg Robinson, Tre Mason, Garrett Gilbert, Mitchell Van Dyk, Demetrius Rhaney - IMO 0-5 hits
2015 - Gurley, Rob Havenstein, Jamon Brown, Sean Mannion, Andrew Donnal, Bud Sasser, Cody Wichmann - Normally in my world you get 2 plus years before I deem someone a hit or a miss or a bust, right now I would say 2-7 hits (Gurley and Havenstein even though both are having subpar seasons, they where good last year)
Now, my definition of hit says Snead (and Fisher) is 2- 21 hits or 9.5% hit rate. That is not good.
Defensively, they are much higher 8-15 IMO, or 53%
Overall, throwing in GZ they are 11-37 hits not including 2016 draft or 29.7%, so according to your 40% benchamark, Snead is falling short.[

I stand by that, and even though Snead is handicapped by Fisher, he knew that going in. Its time to make Fisher uncomfortable. And if that means axing his hand picked GM, then so be it.
This isn't 4th grade basketball 43, losing has to have serious repercussions. Its time someone close to Fisher needs to Mr. Mayhem (thats a Sons of Anarchy reference).
Fisher did have to sign off on Snead in the hiring process at the final meeting (the only one Fisher attended), but it was known by all parties that Snead would just become Fisher`s yes man.
I feel bad for Snead because all he has been these past 5 years is Fisher`s yes man, and helping Fisher find his type of players, which Fisher had final say on. Fisher ran the table at the draft, especially with all the high picks (essentially 8 1st round picks) and Fisher was the one that hired the coaching staff to coach up these players he drafted.
I`m not saying Snead is anything special, but man he wasn't even given the opportunity to become a real GM yet. I honestly believe there is no way to fairly assess him as a GM and to critique him on all those draft picks and free agent signings are unfair to him.
With this all being said, yes, Snead did agree to be Fisher`s yes man and they failed as a team, so I understand if he would have to be shown the door along with Fisher.
My guess is Demoff would like to keep Snead around even if Fisher is fired, but I`m not so sure that would look like the right move within the organization. And if they hire a big name head coach, will the Rams be foolish enough to give him full control? I sure hope not.
Any chance we can trade draft picks for Reggie McKenzie? LOL... We need that type of GM, who came from a winning organization.
