In 2014 we gave a 5th to move up 3 spots
to get Lemarcus Joyner

they wanted him, and had to be afraid they'd lose him

so, they gave up a 5th, so seems smart
if they were sure

biggest names missed out on
for losing 5th were Corey Linsley and A. J. McCarron

Maybe the 3 teams picking at 42 and 43 would have taken Joyner
and Rams would have gotten him anyway and then been smart enough
to take Linsley---but odds are low.

They could have taken Lavonte David and it would be moot
