The trade down, as you point down, wasn't the problem, it was not picking the right guy after Kendricks and Wagner were gone.
I think trading down is a good idea--IF the talent level is the same as it is at your current pick---
if it is not take the pick.
But in relation to this year, if reports are accurate---the talent at 36 is the same as at say 45
UNLESS some 1st rounder falls a long way---and if that is case, don't trade down.
